Right now, I'm watching Nightmre before Christmas. Yes, it's an old movie and many have watched it. I want to watch it for a long time and now I have the time. =>

The Queen and Maria Antoinette

In the past two days, I have seen The Queen and Maria Antoinette. The first one is attracted by the movie while the second one is attachted by the costume.

Undoubtedly, the Queen is a very good movie. Usually I'm not interested in biographical features as they are sometimes boring. However, Helen Mirren's acting has changed my perception. She is such a talented and beautiful actress. The movie is produced seriously with the consideration of using clips of news about Princess Diana and her death.

As for Maria Antoinette, besides the fasinating costume and shoes, I do feel disappointed about the movie. I can't see the message that the director would like to deliever. The movie tells the daily live of Maria Antoinette but it's not interesting at all. The charater is not strong or maybe the director doesn't want to focus on the history but what is the main theme. However, the mix of light blue and gold has given me idea on design. It's very sweet and royal.

Sculpture at HK Park

Today, Regeen, Mac, Sharon and I went to the ceramic exhibition in which our teacher Wan sir has several pieces displayed. This reminds me that I haven't attended ceramic class for morn than six months.

Next we went to see the sculpture displayed at HK park. The theme is about olympic in China. Here are some pieces I like:

25週年

這次母校的聚餐雖然見不到很多老師和舊同學,但看到有很多老師依舊不變,而我們卻變了,這感覺倒令我覺得距離越遠,還是以前老師與學生的關係較令人懷念.

充滿異國風情的生日

生日已不如以往如此興奮,還記得中學或大學時,朋友們都輪著和我慶祝.
現在有時間中和朋友吃飯,談天說地已很高興,不用等到生日才一起,這感覺反而更令人安慰.

還記得黎明有一首很流行的歌"對不起 我愛你",忘了歌詞是什麼意思,大概都是一些令人傷感的歌吧.
若歌名換一換,成為"我愛你 對不起",這又會是什麼意思呢?你常聽到那句呢?你又想聽到那句呢?

不如多一點說聲"我愛你",少一點說"對不起".

男的做錯了事,我相信說"我愛你"比"對不起"更有效,因女的都應該愛聽"我愛你"吧.

重回舊地

今天回到去年的工作地方,遇見一些老朋友,很高興他們都不會對我如陌路人,表演得熱情和驚喜,那刻是高興的,但話不到三句,便向我表達在工作上的不滿,作為一個過來人,我很明白他們的感受,但願他們在未來的日子會找到新的希望和動力.

對工作的不滿不只是工作所帶來的勞累,更嚴重的是同儕間的排斥和埋怨,以前我不明白為何會出這些矛盾,亦不會去理,但當我閱讀過他們的一些感受後,便發覺原來衝突很多時都是由於沒有把自己代入別人的角度去思想,其實舊的一班亦曾付出過不少,但新的一班沒有看到,新的一班成長過程不同,亦有不同的思考角度,但舊的未能理解.

我們不是都本著為下一代努力嗎?為何不能放下自我呢?

Wii

On Wednesday, I went to my friend's home to play wii. It's much more fun than I expected. The game is silly but funny. I design my character on it. If I could take the remote, my character would appear in other one's console. I can't understand why Japanese are so crazy that they can design such a game idea.

Egypt is the sexiest part on your body?

I have a group of girlfriends. We have known since we were in secondary school. We all are straight-forward so we like to tease each other all the time. (Well, I'm not that mean usually:p) One day, since I had to do a research for my study, I asked them what is the sexiest part on their body. Yan who has the slowest response answered at once. She said, "Egypt!". I thought I misunderstood something but then we all bursted into laugh. She thought I asked where in the world is the sexiest. Anyway, she still couldn't get the question even I explained again. We kept teasing her. Maybe she wants to say ankle as it's the roughest part on the body. Who knows?

老朋友

某天約了一個好久不見的老朋友出來吃飯,本意是了解他的近況,開解他,因我得知他和女朋友發生了點事,但不知是他故意裝成沒事,不讓我擔心,還是真的釋懷了,他沒有什麼不開心的表情,反之以為我是有什麼事才約他出來,不論怎樣,他沒事就好了.

食。壽司

自從我們有元氣,元祿壽司等會"旋轉"的壽司開始,香港人愛上了這種食法,它的新奇不但吸引港人,亦符合港人愛選擇的性格,但這幾年的風頭已大不如前,那些用元字做頭的雜嘜壽司店已消聲匿跡,現在只剩下真的有長期顧客和有明星效應的留下來.

話雖如此,這股食壽司的熱潮不知何時又捲土重來,繼峰壽司的排隊潮後,什麼一壽司,正壽司等等以單字為名的壽司店陸續出現.不知最後有誰可以留下來,繼續為我們帶來真正美味的壽司?

The first class

I have just finished my first Jewellery Design lesson. It's more fun than I expected. I have learnt the difference between fine jewellery and art jewellery. Also, I found that what I'm doing now is just matching, not design. Expecting next week.

Getting Crazy on Jewellery Design

Since I have bought a quite expensive necklace, I started to feel I shouldn't pay so much to buy something I can make. Since I was a kid, I liked to design something though my work was usually not so good. I remember I had use pieces of cloth from a pair of used sport pants and two plastic circle clips to make a purse for my barbie. I also made the cover of my file and the notebook for my form 5 graduation. It's fun to create. I know I'm not that kind of talented people who can make many fabulous designs but at least I feel happy during the process. That's enough.

每年的願望

以前工作量大,壓力大,想埋怨"得閒死,唔得閒病",但現在工作量少了,壓力少了,反而兩個月病一次,抵抗力差了很多,真的不好受.也許我要多點運動了.

Reward

前幾天晚上收了一個電話,是我的一個舊生,他的來電是報喜,因他的stat. passed了,雖然我之前替他報了幾個小時,但其實我也不是幫了他很多.不過他說我當時對他的當頭棒喝令他醒了.
這句說話令我很開心.原來我當初的理想是可以達到的.

I love my friends

Live is wonderful.
I have attended several wedding banquets recently. When I see them walking down the hallway, holding their husband, saying I do, I feel so happy for them. The moments when we were fooling around at school, karaoke or someone's home seem long time ago. We have all grown up.

I really treasure the friendship from school. It's very true.
